Introduction

The chemistry department was started in 1996-97. This is one of the largest science department of the college. In its history of 20 years it has gr, own considerably. The department is located in a large building which houses three spacious laboratories along with staff room and store room. Highly qualified staffs, good infrastructure, state of art teaching aids, innovative departmental activities and research activities are some important highlights of the department.

  • Asst. Prof. Borgaonkar V. V. and Asst. Prof. Pawar S. R. with T. Y. B. Sc. students visited to Wochardt international industry, Chikalthana , Aurangabad and also visited to Samarth Sugar industry Ankushnagar, Dist.- Jalna.
  • Asst. Prof. V. D. Shelke with other department faculties and students of B. Sc. visited to Shivaji University Kolhapur.

  • Wall papers were published by students of chemistry on current themes.
  • One of the important programs conducted by department was chemistry quiz named “Chem Quiz – 2015” on 14 Jan. 2015 so as to carry direct interaction with students.
