History Physical Education Department

The department of physical education was started in 1996. The purpose of this department to become a complete man through sport and to do education of the sport skill through practical work. At the establishment of physicaleducation department Mr, Sable Nilkanth, Shri.BorgaonkarVikas, MrWakankarAnant were the Faculty Members. They were given much effort for the development of physical education department. In July2000 Sanstha appointed full time lecturer myself namely Mr. Sadegaonkar U, R. in thephysical education department as a head from year 2000 up to till. From Academic year 2007 Mr. Sadegaonkar U. R. completed research work in M.phil.degree under the guidance of Prof, Dr. Pandharinath R. Rokde on the topic “DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIFFERENT WEIGHT CATEGORIES IN RELATION TO ANAEROBIC CAPACITY OF WEIGHT LIFFTERS”
Now Ph.D. work on topic “IPL CRICKET SPARDHA CHYA WARTHANKNA MULE EITHER KHELACHYA WARTHANKANAWAR VA PRASARAVAR HONARA PARINAM” also goingon under the guidance of Prof.Dr.C.B.Pangarkar (Vairagar) which is Working as a proffecer in SwatantryavirSavarkarMahavidalaya, Beed, Department head of physical education. Mr.Sadegaonkar U.R. completed two International conference & 3 National seminar and number of workshops which is held by college. In Academic year 2006 – 2019 department achieved success in swimming. The student of this department Mr, Kundare R. T. participated inter college tournament and get second position in butterfly skill of the swimming. This student also participate ALL INDIA level competition (IUT) of swimming from Dr. B. A. M. University- The department also organized aashwamedh inter college tournament of chess (l.C.T.) along with Dr. B. A. M. University which is held in Majalgaon. The head of department Mr, Sadegaonkar U. R. also appointed as team manager of the team Dr. B. A. M, University which is participate inter university tournament (I.U.T.) at Kumtur (Karnatak State). In Academic year 2008 -2009 the department also get success in swimming. Mr, MundeSatyaprem got second position in butterfly skill of swimming. Physical education Department and Ajinkya Club Majalgaon also runs the Gym in college campus. The different activity of sports like kabaddi, volleyball, Atheletics, cricket, table tennis etc. activity run by this department in college campus.
The students of this department also participate open marathon competition in academic year 2006 – 2007. The head of department Mr.Sadegaonkar U. R. appointed as a secretary of this open maha marathon tournament which is held by Thane marathon trust and organized by taluka committee. In academic year 2010-2011 department achieved success in swimming. the student of this departemt Mr.Munde satyaprem Babasaheb got fist position in swimming in skill of 200 m. free style event and also got success in 100 meter back stroke event that student also participate in team of university which has joined IUT Tournament held at Calcutta tournament organize in period of 15 Aug. 2010 to 17 Aug.2010,Mr. Chumble Bharat Rohidas, Mr. Banage Gorakh Bandu also got chance to participate in I.U.T.(ALL INDIA) swimming tournament in year 2018-2019 which is held at JAIN UNIVERSITY BANGALORE in period of 28 oct. to 31 oct.2018.Department also got 1Gold,1 Silver, 3 Branze. Medal in ICT swimming Tournament which held from Dr.BA M University Aurangabad. Department also achieve success in wrestling the student of this department Mr. Annasaheb Sarjerao Gayakawad (B.A.I.year) got second position in wrestling through out university in ICT tournament which is held at Dharmapuri Taluka At.Parali Dist.Beed in the period of 13/09/2010 in 74 kg. weight group event. The Department head Mr.Sadegonkar U.R. appointed as official for inter college wrestling tournament (ICT) arrange by Dr.B.A.M.U.Aurangabad and Apex I.T.collageMajalgaonDist.Beed. dated form 06.10.2012 to 08.10.2012. The Department head Mr.Sadegaonkar U.R. also gave valuable contribution in 18th inter university sports mohotsav 2014 scheduled from 27 Nov. to 1st Dec.2014 held at Dr.B.A.M.U. Campus Aurangabad. Department head Mr.Sadegonkar U.R. also appointed committee member as third party college head for investigate the purchasing sport instrument which is purchased by UGC fund sanctioned to Majalgaon college of Art, science and commerce Majalgaon on the date of 23/06/2014. Physical education Department and Ajinkya Club Majalgaon also runs the Gym in college campus. for running in our sanstha ground. Multigymnasium, indoor game hall with wooden
floor.
5. Make special store room for sport equipment from Department of sport.
